Place zest, water, orange juice, sugar, Craisins®, cinnamon stick, cardamom pod and cloves in medium saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered, until syrupy for approx. 5-10 minutes.
Add pears and simmer, covered for approx. 3 to 5 minutes or until just tender (it may take longer if pears are very hard).
Cool and serve at room temperature with hot porridge.
